Biznet in the News!

At the request of BizNET’s President, Tamara Robb, members of the networking group recently visited the Somerset County Food Bank to donate money collected by their membership. Pictured in the photo from left to right are: Verna Ulis, Harlee Hatoff, John Panchery, Marie Scannell (Somerset County Food Bank Executive Director) and Cindy Bloyd.

In 2010, members of the Board of the BizNET Networking Group voted to support the local Somerset County Food Bank with collected monetary donations. Over the years, BizNET has contributed thousands of dollars to the cause. Marie Scannell, Executive Director of the Food Bank looks forward to our donation on a regular basis. This is especially true at holiday time when BizNET members dig a little deeper to ensure the Food Bank can feed those in need. Ms. Robb stated “We have an incredible group of people in our organization that are always willing to help each other and give generously to the Food Bank.”

BizNET meets twice a month at Perkins on Route 22 in Green Brook on the first and third Wednesday at 7:15am. New members are always welcome. During the meeting, a voluntary collection is made to support the Food Bank.
